The 2010 Z1000 was a clean-sheet naked streetfighter that replaced the earlier 953 cc Z1000 family. It introduced a 1043 cc four-cylinder engine, an aluminium backbone frame that uses the engine as a stressed member, a horizontal rear monoshock and a tilting digital instrument panel. The character is aggressive styling with street-focused handling.
