A 1982 limited tribute to Eddie Lawson's 1981 AMA Superbike title, built on the 998 cc air-cooled four in Team Green. Compared with the standard J it has steeper steering geometry, revalved forks, piggyback Showa shocks, a Kerker 4-into-1 exhaust, a four-row oil cooler, a scalloped seat and a dry weight about 41 lb lower, with a racer-style handlebar.
