The Z1300i was Kawasaki's fuel-injected version of the six-cylinder shaft-drive tourer, with 130 hp and digital fuel injection. Introduced in the early 1980s, it became the ZG1300 in later markets and was the basis for the Voyager touring model. Reviewers noted its strong performance and good economy, with braking still the weak spot.
