The 1980-1982 KZ200 is a light, economical single-cylinder beginner bike with a narrow 198 cc overhead-cam engine and a kick starter. Its telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks and 5-speed gearbox are unchanged from the earlier versions on the same site. The page places the switch to CDI ignition in 1983, after these model years, and says a planned 250 cc version was cancelled.
