The 2007-08 Z750 was a re-tuned, narrower version of the original naked Z750, with 32 mm throttle bodies, new ignition mapping and upside-down 41 mm forks. Kawasaki aimed it at everyday riders, favouring mid-range torque and a quicker-revving character over the Z1000. It moved to a tubular backbone frame with a cast-aluminium engine sub-frame, and a 2008 ABS version was also offered.
