The Voyager was Kawasaki's large luxury touring model built around a liquid-cooled, 1286 cc transverse six, the same basic engine as the earlier Z1300 line. It was a larger, heavier successor to the original 1300 design, with air-adjustable forks, a full-cradle frame and shaft drive. The reviewed road test describes it as very comfortable and well protected from wind for open-road touring, but heavy and awkward at low speed.
