The Zephyr 750 was the mid-size member of Kawasaki's retro-styled Zephyr range, built on the older GT750-derived engine. The magazine road test calls it competent but bland, with 1970s styling and 1990s technology, strong brakes and good low-down acceleration. It sold well in the UK, with the distributor running out of stock early in the season.
