The 2010 ZX-10R was a track-focused open-class superbike built around a 998 cc inline-four and an aluminium frame, with parts taken from Kawasaki's racing programme. For 2010 the bodywork was tidied to look more compact, an 18-position Ohlins steering damper was added, and the shifter and muffler were revised. Wikipedia describes the year as a light update over 2009.
