The original ZX-6R, Kawasaki's 1995 600 cc supersport that shared much of its styling with the 1994 ZX-9R. It used a liquid-cooled 598 cc DOHC four with Mikuni carburettors and a wet multiplate clutch, with Showa suspension and 300 mm front discs. It was the first of the ZX-6R line that would later move to 636 cc.
