The 1996 ZX-9R is a mid-run version of Kawasaki's first big-bore ZX-9R, with 141 hp claimed from the 899 cc four. It keeps the aluminium twin-spar frame and fully adjustable KYB fork and Uni-Trak shock of the 1994-95 bikes. The page gives no separate changes for this year.
