The ZZ-R-X was a 2003 Kawasaki concept shown at the Milan show as a high-speed tourer. Its defining idea is adjustable riding modes: a raised screen and fairing suit low-speed touring, while lowering them gives a more aerodynamic sport setting. The concept also showed a centralised fuel tank, storage in front of the seat and a silencer built into the bodywork.
