The 2016 1290 Super Duke R, KTM's most extreme Super Duke of its time and aimed squarely at the streetfighter segment. It carries the 1301 cc V-twin derived from the 1190 RC8 R engine, with ride-by-wire, selectable ride modes, MTC traction control and Bosch ABS. The chassis is WP suspension on a CrMo trellis frame, and the reviews on the source page noted the lack of fork spring preload adjustment and the price.
