The 2016 - 2017 SMC R was KTM's road-legal supermoto version of the single-cylinder 690 engine, with electronic fuel injection, electric start and a six-speed gearbox. It used a chrome-moly trellis frame, 48 mm upside-down forks and a 320 mm front disc, with 250 mm of wheel travel at both ends.
