A dual-sport bike based on the 999.8 cc LC8 V-twin, with electronic fuel injection and an electronic ignition, styled after the Paris-Dakar racers. The review finds it strong on the highway and off-road, but tall and awkward at low speed. It is compared with the Suzuki V-Strom 1000, and its lower fairing panels are left unpainted for durability.
