A stripped-down, non-road-legal track version of the 990 RC R, with lights, mirrors and side stand removed and a paddock stand and wet-weather taillight supplied. It uses the 947 cc parallel twin with adjustable traction control, anti-wheelie, launch control, engine brake, pit limiter, quickshifter+ and a 4.2 inch colour TFT dash. KTM unveiled it alongside the 990 RC R CUP, a six-round European race series.
