The RC 250 Special Edition is a limited-run variant of the fully faired 250 that swaps the standard underbelly exhaust for a side-slung canister, similar to the one on the 390 Duke. KTM credits the change with about 1 bhp more and a racier sound. Otherwise it shares the 248.8 cc single, chassis and WP suspension of the standard RC 250, with some unspecified cosmetic and mechanical upgrades.
