The 2017 RC 390 carried the first-generation 373 cc single into its updated form, with the ride-by-wire throttle, a slipper clutch and a larger 320 mm front disc. KTM also added a new aluminium Euro 4 silencer and a slimmer belly pan, but the chassis and overall layout stayed largely unchanged. It remained a light, compact A2-licence sportbike with a race-inspired look.
