Laverda's small sports 125, built around a Zundapp-sourced liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, aimed at young riders who wanted an Italian alternative to the German KS 125. By this period a 50 cc version had joined the range and the LZ Sport undercut the Zundapp KS on price. The 125 was succeeded by the LB at the end of its run.
