The Blizzard was Maico's mid-1950s two-stroke road bike, sold in 177, 250 and 277 cc forms, with a road version carrying full lighting and a stripped motocross version. It combined a soft-sprung frame, swingarm rear end, hydraulic front damping and an enclosed chain with lively acceleration and good hill-climbing. Today it has a collector following supported by owner clubs.
