The later years of the Spada II kept the same air-cooled V-twin, shaft drive and fork-mounted fairing as the early cars. It was a relaxed long-distance machine with a low seat, but its small 16-inch front wheel and cramped riding position drew criticism, and it was replaced by the Spada III with 18-inch wheels.
