The T3 California was the American-flavoured, touring-dressed variant of the 850 T3, aimed at riders who wanted a Guzzi with a highway-cruiser look. It shares the T3's air-cooled V-twin, shaft drive and linked brakes. A 1978 magazine comparison with a Harley Electra Glide praised its chassis, cornering stability and brakes.
