The Breva 1200 was Moto Guzzi's larger-engined version of its upright all-round roadster, moving up from the earlier 1100 to a 1151 cc air-cooled V-twin with fuel injection and twin-spark ignition. It kept the single-sided swingarm and shaft drive, aiming at relaxed touring and commuting rather than outright performance.
