Styled by Giorgio Giugiaro and shown at the 1973 Milan show, the Ipotesi gave the 350 twin a squared-off look with a flat line from bars to rear suspension. The engine was reworked with square crankcases and barrels, and the bike gained disc brakes and light alloy wheels. It reached production in 1974.
