The 750S America was created at the urging of US importers who wanted a model styled after the racing bikes. The bore was increased by 2 mm to about 790 cc, shifting moved to the left side, and it received a red livery, suede-covered seat, Smiths round gauges and twin front discs. Wikipedia puts production at around 540 units, priced far above contemporary Japanese fours.
