The 850SS was a converted 750S with the engine enlarged to 837 cc, new cams and bigger carburettors, built in tiny numbers at the factory and some dealers. It has chain drive, uprated suspension and triple disc brakes. Today it ranks among the most desirable road-going MV Agustas.
