The 2012 F4 is the base model of the second-generation 998 cc range, with a steel trellis frame and aluminium side plates, a single-sided swingarm, Marzocchi and Sachs suspension and Brembo radial front brakes. It carries the lower, compact bodywork, xenon headlight, traction control and digital dash introduced with the 2010 redesign.
