The 2012 F4 R shares the Corsa Corta short-stroke 998 cc engine of the RR, with titanium valves, a slipper clutch and a 4-2-1-4 exhaust. It uses a conventional 50 mm fork and competition-derived suspension, in a slightly less extreme spec than the RR.
