Norton answer to the chopper craze after Easy Rider, the Hi-Rider put a Commando in custom-style trim. It had high unbraced bars, a small fibreglass tank, a dual seat with a grab rail and a small headlight. It was the first volume-production factory custom, though its tiny tank and awkward two-up seat limited it.
