The Roadster arrived in 1970 as the more conventional, low-exhaust Commando with a flat seat and reverse-cone silencers. It used the same rubber-mounted 745 cc twin as the Fastback and became the most popular model in the range. Handling and low vibration were its strengths; brakes were weak.
