A late-1980s Norton rotary reviewed in a 1988 road test while still wearing heavy police-style fairing. Testers found the twin-rotor engine rough when cold but smooth, quiet and strong once warm, with handling that tended to oversteer in tight corners. It was seen as a unique but expensive machine.
