The Interpol was the police-spec version of the Commando, developed under Neale Shilton, who had earlier run police sales at Triumph. It carried a modified Atlas tank, a fairing, panniers, a top box and radio mounts, with fitting varying by force. From 1972 it gained a larger Interstate tank, a front disc and reverse-cone silencers that left room for the panniers. Most were white, with some dark blue or black unmarked machines.
