The Interpol 2 revived Norton's police business with a twin-rotor Wankel in place of the old piston twin, sharing only its name with the 1970s Interpol. It was sold to fleet buyers such as police and military police, not to the public, and used a bought-in Avon fairing and steel tanks built to police safety rules. A water-cooled prototype late in production led to the Commander.
