The first Piaggio MP3 400 was the production version of the tilting three-wheeler concept, with two steered wheels at the front on a four-arm parallelogram linkage. It paired the Master 400 single with a twist-and-go automatic, giving scooter ease with car-like front-end grip. It was sold without ABS in these first model years.
