The Typhoon is Piaggio's compact, sporty-looking city scooter. In this form it uses a carburetted, air-cooled four-stroke 125 alongside the long-running 50 cc two-stroke, with restyled front bodywork and a tapered tail. Twelve-inch wheels and a trellis frame aim at agile, stable urban riding, and the torque curve is judged adequate for faster suburban roads.
