A revised run of the 996 cc V-Strom. According to the Wikipedia change list, the 2004 model brought a redesigned instrument cluster, revised ECU, new turn signals and stronger handlebars. In 2005 the frame changed from silver to black and the clutch cover was made quieter, and in 2007 the bike received clear turn-signal lenses and new swingarm pivot covers.
