Suzuki's first four-stroke road bike in this class, launched in late 1976 with the GS750. It had a DOHC two-valve parallel twin with a gear-driven balancer, a six-speed box and a tubular cradle frame, with a front disc. Smooth and balanced rather than the fastest 400, it became a popular small-capacity roadster.
