The GS450S was the sporty, fairing-equipped version of the 1980 GS450 range, with a racer-style fairing, low bars and rear-set pegs in the European look. Under the skin it used the same bored-out GS400-derived twin. Reviewers liked the steering but found the soft suspension and emissions-era jetting held it back.
