The GS450T was the standard-styled 1982 version of the GS450, a twin with double overhead cams, a gear-driven counterbalancer, electronic ignition and a six-speed gearbox. A period magazine review called the engine the best part of the bike, with the rest merely adequate: single front disc, rear drum, wire wheels and simple shocks. Its US price was cut a year later.
