The GS750E was the uprated version of Suzuki's first big four-stroke, with a tuned engine that lifted claimed output from 63 to 72 hp while the chassis stayed the same: double-cradle frame, air-adjustable anti-dive forks and dual rear shocks. It kept the 1976 GS750's 748 cc air-cooled twin-cam four and its 5-speed gearbox. This was the sport-oriented chain-drive GS750 for 1978.
