The GS750EZ was the 1982 refinement of the GS750EX, with a more aggressive camshaft and re-tuned ignition that the testers credited with shaving roughly a quarter second off the quarter-mile. It also gained anti-dive forks, a more comfortable handlebar, a round headlight with conventional instruments, and came out lighter. Criticisms were abrupt throttle response and limited cornering clearance, but it was judged the best bike in its class for the year.
