The GS750L was the custom-styled, chain-driven GS750 for 1979 and 1980, using the same 748 cc air-cooled twin-cam four rated at 68 hp. Chassis hardware matched the G models, with twin 292 mm front discs and air-adjustable anti-dive forks. It occupied the cruiser-flavoured end of the GS range before the shaft-driven GL.
