The GT is a fully faired, touring-minded take on the big Bandit, using the 1157 cc air/oil-cooled four that descends from the GSX-R1100 engine, tuned for mid-range torque. Compared with the 600 Bandit it brings a fuel gauge, higher-spec suspension, hydraulic clutch and larger front discs. It keeps the Bandit's cheap, tough, easygoing character with a more sheltered riding position.
