A continuation of the first-generation naked Bandit 1200 with the same mechanical package: the GSX-R-derived 1157 cc four in a simple steel-tube frame. A road test praised the strong mid-range, light steering, upright seating and powerful front brake, while criticising the lever shape and mirrors. It was pitched as a capable commuter, tourer and weekend bike.
