The revised half-faired Bandit 1200S with new carburettors, six-piston front brakes and a restyled fairing, still using the GSX-R1100-derived 1157 cc four. A road test found good power across the rev range, a smooth clutch, positive gearbox and useful fuel gauge, with handling and brakes strong for the price, though the seat tires riders on long motorway runs.
