The 2009 facelift left the fuel-injected 650 engine and chassis alone and concentrated on looks and fittings: a new fairing with storage compartments, black engine finish, fresh instruments and a revised silencer and tail. Reviewers found it smooth, torquey and comfortable, if a little heavy and large for smaller riders. It remained a sensible do-it-all road bike with long service intervals.
