The GSX1100G was a retro-styled, shaft-drive heavyweight roadster that Suzuki introduced in 1991, using a retuned air/oil-cooled GSX-R based four with extra low and mid-range pull. It was aimed at relaxed, long-distance road riding rather than sport, and magazine testers found it strong and smooth but heavy and slow-steering. A GSX-R1100-engined GSX1100GM sibling also existed.
