The all-new second generation Hayabusa, with the stroke lengthened to 65 mm for 1340 cc, compression raised to 12.5:1 and titanium valves. It added a three-mode drive selector, slipper-type clutch, steering damper and radial-mount front calipers on smaller 310 mm discs, plus an aluminium frame and a Euro 3 compliant exhaust.
