A small, air-cooled four-valve parallel twin 250 with a six-speed gearbox, electric start and a single front disc. Period testers rated it a friendly learner machine that was quick for its class, light to steer and economical, with minor complaints about centrestand ground clearance, the horn and the toolkit. The 1980 sheet gives a lighter dry weight than later years and lists no dimensions.
