A small, air-cooled four-valve parallel twin 250 with a six-speed gearbox, electric start and a single front disc. Period testers rated it a friendly learner machine that was quick for its class, light to steer and economical, with minor complaints about centrestand ground clearance, the horn and the toolkit. The last years of the original E model, listed with the same figures as 1982-83.
