A quirky 250 four-cylinder sports-tourer whose fuel tank sits under the rear seat, leaving a lockable helmet compartment where a tank would normally be. It pairs a high-revving liquid-cooled engine with a steel frame, a single rear shock and a six-speed gearbox, and was praised as comfortable, easy to ride and dependable, though the headlight and instruments were dated. These were the first model years, when the full 45 hp output was available.
